Short Bio

Heather began plotting her first murder in 2016, after co-owning an organic vegetable farm for eight years. She has a BA in creative writing and English literature from the University of Victoria, and once wrote a musical stage play that was sponsored by Tupperware. Her first mystery novel, One for the Raven, was a top-five finalist for the Crime Writers of Canada's 2019 Unhanged Arthur Ellis Award for the best unpublished first crime novel.
